RICHARD BEGAY Vintage Sterling Silver Native American Turquoise + Bear Claw Ring

SKU: 46727

$595

A beautiful and unique example of the work of Native American artist Richard Begay from the 1960s! Crafted in sterling silver, this ring displays two turquoise cabochons in serrated bezel settings flanking a striking natural bear claw, which rest among feather, bead, and swirl patterns. The turquoise stones boast a vibrant blue color marbled with earthy brown and black tones. The centerpiece rests on a wide band detailed with twisted wire which widens at the shoulders to exhibit more intricate patterning. The inside of one of the band's shoulders is stamped with "RB STERLING". This Vintage ring makes a unique statement, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection of Native American jewelry!

Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 10.5 but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures 1 1/2" long, 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" wide.

Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The turquoise cabochons and bear claw are intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the silver, typical of antique jewelry.
