An absolutely stunning line bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this gorgeous piece is comprised of 40 box links which feature 20 sparkling round cut diamonds H/I color range and VS1-2 clarity range and 20 vibrant square cut sapphires. The diamonds and sapphires are set in a pattern alternating with sections of 4 diamond encrusted links and 4 sapphire links. The estimated 3 carats of diamonds are micro-prong set in the square settings, and the estimated 8 carats of sapphires are bezel set in their links. The stones are surrounded by delicate milgrained detail and a simple cut out gallery in each link allowing the stones to be fully engulfed by light, even when worn. The box links hinge together and move freely, giving the bracelet a comfortable level of flexibility when worn. The piece opens and closes at a push clasp that is hidden within one of the links of the bracelet and there is also a platinum safety chain for added security. The underside of the clasp has a faint purity mark for Platinum. A wonderful piece, this stunning bracelet looks gorgeous when worn and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures slightly more than 7 1/4" long, and 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to any of the diamonds and sapphires, all of which are intact. The clasp and safety clasp both fasten securely and are in good working condition.
