Victorian 18kt Etruscan Diamond Starburst Bracelet .85ctw

An absolutely outstanding bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wide bangle is made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold and has an exceptional three-dimensional design on the front surface. The top and bottom edges have an intricate Etruscan bead and wirework border comprised of delicate twisted gold rope details. Resting in the center are three diamond starburst links held within gold loops for a buckle inspired design. Each sparkling old Mine Cut diamond is surrounded by a royal blue enameled starburst border for a dramatic effect! The total approximate weight of the three diamonds is .85ctw (.35ct for the center stone and .25ct for each outer stone). The bracelet clasps on the side and has a safety chain for added security. A strong Victorian piece, it looks incredibly striking when worn would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures slightly more than 3/4" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the raised details. All three diamonds are intact and the enamel is free of chips or scratches. The clasp and safety chain are snug and secure and the hinge is in good working condition. There is some normal surface wear on the underside of the bangle, which is not unusual for a Victorian piece and not noticeable when the piece is worn.
