A beautiful and usual banded agate ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 15kt rose gold and holds a wonderful bullseye banded agate stone at its center. The banded agate is smoothly polished into a round cabochon shape and has rich light and deep brown swirls, surrounded by the signature white banding. The agate stone is held within a beautiful multi-prong setting which gives it a fantastic and dramatic look. Completing the design, is a textured ribbed band that meets at two smooth bars hugging the stone at each shoulder. A naturally beautiful and versatile design, the ring merges seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a perfect everyday accessory for a woman or a man!
Measurements: The ring has a large finger size of 6.5, but could easily be re-sized up or down as desired. The banded agate centerpiece, inclusive of the setting, measures 1/2" in diameter, and the rose gold band measures a little over 1/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the banded agate stone, which is secure and intact.
