In the trade, vintage generally describes pieces from roughly the 1960s through the 1980s, younger than antique but old enough to carry period character. At A. Brandt + Son we date pieces to their decade so you know exactly where a piece sits on the timeline.

Antique jewelry is generally 100 years old or older, while vintage refers to more recent pieces, often from the 1960s to the 1980s. Estate simply means previously owned and can include both. We label each piece clearly so the distinction is never in doubt.

Vintage gold pieces combine wearable style with real metal value and, in many cases, collectible designer signatures. Condition and maker drive price. Every vintage piece we offer is condition-graded and authenticity guaranteed, so you can buy with a clear picture of what you own.

Most vintage rings can be resized, and complimentary sizing is included on the majority of rings we sell. A few settings with full eternity stones or delicate detail cannot be sized safely, and we will always tell you upfront before you purchase.
