A beautiful shooting arrow necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This lovely piece is comprised of a delicate arrow pendant that hangs from a modern 14kt gold cable chain. The arrow most likely originated as a pin that has now been converted into a pendant, making this necklace a wonderful antique conversion piece! The silver-topped gold arrow is decorated with sparkling rose cut diamonds that line the arrow head and feathered tail. Resting in the center of the piece is a mesmerizing opal cabochon suspended in a prong setting. Attached to either side of the arrow is a modern yellow gold cable chain, which fastens with a spring ring clasp in the back. This gorgeous necklace merges seamlessly into modern day trends, and would make a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" long. The arrow pendant itself measures 1 7/8" long, 1/4" at the widest point, and 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Aside from normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the setting, opal, or diamonds, all of which are intact. The chain and clasp are secure and in good working condition.
