Tax excluded. Shipping calculated at checkout
A beautiful and funky pair of Vintage earrings from 1955-1962 by Mexican designer Hector Aguilar! Each of these Taxco-made earrings is hand crafted in sterling silver, forming a shape closely resembling a trapezoid. The dangling earrings feature a polished wirework design that graduates outwards from top to bottom. The design is complemented by ridged edges in an opposing direction, creating a fabulous geometric look. Each earring hangs from a domed surmount, which is attached to a simple wire at the top. Stamped on the back of one surmount is "TAXCO" below Aguilar's signature hallmark (dating the piece to 1955-1962) and the other features a Mexican eagle mark with the number "9" which was assigned to Aguilars' designs. When worn, these fantastic earrings dangle with lovely movement and frame the face beautifully. Perfect for every day wear, these earrings would make a fabulous addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the wire at the top), measures 7/8" wide and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
