This fantastic and unique wedding bracelet set from the Victorian era (ca1880s) is a beautiful example of the romantic tradition! The wide bangles are crafted in 14kt yellow gold, and feature a fabulous matching design that graces the front surface. The bracelets have a beautiful black enamel tracery designs that go all around each bracelet. Both bangles are hinged at the side with a push catch to open the bangles. Stylish and versatile, the bracelets can be worn separately, or stacked together to create the illusion of a single wide bangle. Measurements: Both bracelets have the same interior measurements of approximately 2 3/8" wide and about 1 7/8" tall, and they would fit nicely on a medium to averaged sized wrist. The surface of each bracelet measures approximately 1" wide and is about 3/8" thick at the front and 1/8' thick at the back. The overall pennyweight of both pieces combined is 31.1dwt (48.7 grams).
Condition: The overall condition of both bracelets is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no damage to the gold setting or enamel. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
