A delightful and humorous gold charm from the Art Deco (ca1930s era)! This unusual and collectable piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold and features a small gold box with an old one dollar bill folded up inside. Two of the sides of the box are covered with glass panels so that the dollar bill is in view. The four remaining sides of the box are marked with varying designs. Two of the sides feature a "$" sign, another reads: "MAD MONEY", and the final side reads: "IN EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS". The box is attached to a small 14k jump ring, which holds an additional small gold hammer charm. The box is stamped "14K", and would look lovely worn on a simple chain or added to a charm bracelet! A truly marvelous and unique piece, this charm would make the perfect addition to any Art Deco collection!
Measurements: The charm measures 1/2" square.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold box or glass panels, and the dollar bill inside is intact. The gold hammer charm and jump ring are both secure and intact.
