A romantic sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this ring features a pill-shaped navette style centerpiece. The centerpiece is encrusted with sparkling stones, and features 2, heart-shaped sapphires. The adorable sapphires, which are bezel-set, display a deep, luscious blue hue and have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The remainder of the centerpiece is encrusted with bead-set single cut diamonds and delicate milgrain-detailing. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .40ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature a scrolling-motif design, and the remainder of the band is ribbed. The inside of the shank features a faint engraving which reads: "9637". A lovely piece, this ring would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.66mm. The centerpiece has a height of 3/4" and a width of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. All of the sapphires and diamonds are intact and securely set.
