A striking locket pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this pendant has a fabulous geometric design. The locket features a rich black enamel bordered by a luxurious cream-colored enamel. A glittering "V" shape is encrusted with 23 Single Cut diamonds, their bright sparkle contrasting beautifully against their platinum setting. A single Old Mine Cut diamond rests at the top of the locket below its ornate black enameled handle. The locket is double-sided, the backside matching the black and cream enamel. A simple 14kt white gold bail carries the pendant, ready to hang from a favorite chain. When the Old Mine Cut diamond is pushed, the locket opens to reveal a golden inside. There are photos of two children held behind the glass and golden frames, and the piece is marked "14K 811". A fantastic Art Deco piece, this would be a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The locket measures approximately 1 3/4" tall excluding the white gold bail. It measures 1 1/4" at its widest point, and an overall 1/4" deep.
Condition: The locket is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and platinum detail. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
