An absolutely stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold, this ring features a central, 2.23ct old mine cushion cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The mesmerizing stone displays J color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is complemented on both the left and right by a singular, bezel-set trillion cut sapphire. The sapphires display a deep, luscious blue hue, which wonderfully pairs with the white gold mounting. The diamond is also complemented on the top and bottom by a singular, bezel-set single cut diamond. The front of the mounting also features filigree-detailing, which incorporates a diamond criss-cross pattern. The mounting also features delicate scrolling-motifs, and wheat-motif engravings which carry onto the ring's shoulders. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The diamond is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #1232780579, which provides more information on the large diamond. A spectacular example of Art Deco-era allure and glamour, this piece would make an impressive engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The central diamond, and small sapphires are all intact and securely set.
