A wonderful amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow and white gold, this ring features a central bezel-set oval-cut amethyst stone. The amethyst is wonderfully faceted, and beautifully catches the light with every turn. The amethyst is surrounded by a floral-motif centerpiece, which features alternating yellow and white gold petals. Each shoulder of the ring features delicate engravings. The band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with two small illegible maker's marks. A dainty and elegant ring, this piece would make a splendid addition to any Art Deco-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The floral-motif centerpiece has a diameter of 1/2" and a height of 5/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metal setting. The amethyst is secure and in working order.
