An incredible diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum and features an exquisite old mine cut cushion brilliant cut diamond at the center. The diamond is held within stylish double-prong settings. The beautiful stone, which is particularly large in size, has a total approximate weight of 4.07ct. The color is M+ and VVS2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring are each adorned with three small single cut diamonds, which are held within bead settings. The gallery of the ring features a beautiful scrolling cut-out design, which further adds to the unique appeal of the ring. The band is smooth and simple. Accompanying the ring is a Diamond Grading Report (#2235376794) issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could easily be resized if desired. The center stone rests a little under 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. The diamond is secure and free of chips or cracks.
