The piece is a dainty and colorful ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central, bezel-set 1ct sapphire. The oval cut stone is simply magnificent, and has not been treated with heat. The radiant blue hue of the sapphire is further intensified by the yellow gold bezel-setting which surrounds it. Each shoulder of the ring features a bezel-set marquise cut diamond, and an additional smaller, bezel-set single cut diamond. All of the diamonds display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "10% IRID PLAT" purity mark, and two serial code which read: "8313", and "S150 FD". An elegant piece, this ring would make a one-of-a-kind addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.61mm.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
