A stunning set of double-sided cufflinks from the late Art Deco (1930s) era! Crafted in 18kt white and yellow gold, these geometric beauties feature four eye-catching citrine stones. A fine milgrained frame lines the surrounding bezel of each oval-shaped stone, encircled by a bright white enameled border. A wheat etching covers the surface of the white gold faces as four onyx stones detail the beveled corners of the design. Each link has an open-backed setting with a bar and bail across the underside, which is marked with an "18CT" gold purity stamp. The double-sided cufflinks are attached to one another by a sterling silver figure-8 link, allowing them to be easily fastened to a French cuff. This set of cufflinks would be a fabulous addition to any man or woman's collection.
Measurements: The cufflink surface measures a little more than 3/8" wide, 1/2" tall, with a depth of 3/16". The figure-8 connector measures about 1/2" in length.
Condition: The cufflinks remain in very good antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the two-tone gold and silver setting. The citrine and onyx stones are all intact and securely set. There is some minor wear to the white enameling, however, it is not noticeable when worn and does not impact the overall beauty of the set.
