A lovely diamond and sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18kt white and yellow gold, this beautiful piece features a octagonal-shaped face adorned with vibrant gemstones. Sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds and four Trillion Cut sapphire create an “X” design on the flat surface, surrounding a single 0.10ct diamond at the center. The face of the ring is white gold while the underside features a lovely yellow gold wirework design which merges seamlessly in the gold band. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "18K". The design is beautiful and the combination of the mixed metals paired with the diamonds and sapphires is fantastic. It would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but could easily be re-sized. The octagonal-shaped setting measures approximately 3/4" by 11/16" and nearly 3/4" in diagonal diameter. When worn, it rests approximately 3/16" above the finger. The ring weighs 7.2 grams.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting. The diamonds and sapphires are all intact and securely set.
