Art Deco 900 Silver Paste & Onyx Drop Earrings

A glamorous pair of drop earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 900 silver, each earring begins with a vertically-organized row of 4, bezel-set paste stones. The paste stones discretely shrink in size as the row progresses. The earrings then feature a large, teardrop-shaped link, which is further adorned with bead-set paste stones. Furthermore, the teardrop-shaped link is adorned with small, channel-set, calibrated onyx stones. The onyx stones display a lovely black hue, which wonderfully contrasts the silver setting. The surface of the teardrop-shaped link also features 4, swirling-motif cutouts. The base of each earring features a dangling, bezel-set paste stone, which add gorgeous movement to the pair. The earrings are completed by simple posts and friction backs, which are stamped "925OF". The backside of each earring features a "900" purity mark. Measurements: The earrings have a total length of 1 7/8" and measure 3/4" at their widest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set. The earring posts and friction backs are intact and in working order.
