A wonderful handwrought silver bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This wonderful piece is made of continental silver and comprised of 5 large round discs that link together to form a unique bracelet. The links are detailed with an elaborate ball and wirework design that has almost a gothic look. Set in the center of each link is a single raised silver ball that is fairly large in size. The silver ball rests atop a stack of two silver discs which are surrounding by a curled wirework design alternating with silver balls. A push clasp is hidden within one of the links and there is a safety clasp for added security. The tongue of the clasp is marked "835" along with a small touchmark. A very unusual and fantastic piece, this bracelet would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each link has a diameter of approximately 1 1/4" and is 1/2" thick. The entire length of bracelet is 7" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver links and the push clasp and safety are secure and in good working condition.
