A fabulous pin/pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this piece begins with a circular coral cabochon. Radiating out from the coral cabochon are two long, narrow rays, which are adorned with small prong-set diamonds. The bottom of the rays feature bezel set, rectangular onyx stones, which are followed by two, oval-shaped coral stones. An interlocking box motif links the two thin rays together, and is also adorned with small diamonds.The back of the top coral cabochon is decorated with a beautifully intricate floral motif bail. The back of the pin/pendant also features a pin clasp. A truly unique Art Deco piece, this pin/pendant would make the perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2 3/4" long (including the bail at the top). The pendant measures 1/2" at its widest point, and the pin/pendant has an approximate depth of 3/8".
Condition: The pendant is in great antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the bail is secure and in good working condition. The coral, onyx, and diamonds are all secure and intact. The pin clasp at the back of the pin/pendant is secure and in working condition.
