A stunning and colorful engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central .80ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a clawed four-prong setting. The diamond displays J/K color and SI1 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by a lovely square-shaped frame, and the diamond is complemented on the left and right by a channel-set baguette cut emerald. Each shoulder of the ring also features 2 additional baguette cut emeralds, which are also channel-set. Overall, the emeralds have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw, and display a luscious green hue. The central diamond is further surrounded by geometric diamond-encrusted frame. The frame is adorned with bead-set single cut diamonds, and each shoulder of the ring features an additional single-cut diamond, with is juxtaposed atop a tulip-shaped plaque. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw and also display J/K color and SI1 clarity. The band of the ring features simple ball-motif engravings, and the inside of the shank is stamped "5% IRID PLATINUM". A fantastic piece, this ring would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.7mm.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and emeralds are intact and securely set.
