An absolutely stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this lovely piece has a old European Cut diamond set at its center. The stone has a total approximate weight of 1.44ctw, M color and SI2 clarity and is prong set in a beautiful and ornate filigree setting. Eighteen additional diamonds are set within the sides and shoulders of the mounting, adding rich detail to the already beautiful ring. These diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.20ctw with color in the H-I range and clarity in the SI range. The shank is stamped "IRID PLAT" and "ORANGE BLOSSOM". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in October 2018, and has a stated retail replacement value of $8,000.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.25 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact.
