An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful piece has a lovely "step-up" style mounting with three rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous round old European cut diamond in the center. The center diamond is prong set within a box setting and weighs 0.82ctw with H color and VS2 clarity. Resting on the "steps" of each shoulder of the ring are 4 single cut diamonds in four prong settings, which accent the center stone perfectly. These smaller diamonds weigh approximately 0.28ctw. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline, and delicate engraved detail completes the beautiful Art Deco design. Accompanying the ring is an insurance appraisal completed by a GIA Diamonds Graduate dated October 2022 with a retail replacement value of $7,500. It's a truly gorgeous and classically beautiful piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5 3/4 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
