The ring is a spectacular estate sapphire and diamond ring from the 1960’s! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring features a 2.41ct, prong-set oval cut sapphire. The brilliant sapphire stone, which has not been treated with heat, displays a beautiful bluish-violet hue, which wonderfully complements the platinum mounting. Each shoulder of the ring features 3 bead-set modern round brilliant cut diamonds, whichh have an approximate total carat weight of .25ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. Each shoulder also features a single, prong-set baguette cut diamond, which have a joint carat weight of .20ctw, and display G/H color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "PLAT" purity mark. The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #223739548 report, which provides more information on the sapphire. A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a shining addition to any Art Deco-era jewelry collection!
