Art Deco Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Halo Pendant Necklace

A gorgeous sapphire and diamond pendant necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold and platinum, this necklace begins with a dainty paperclip-style chain. The chain secures with a simple spring ring clasp, which is marked with a "750" purity mark. The chain is accompanied by a circular pendant, which features a central, bezel-set, round cut sapphire. The .50ct stone is simply mesmerizing, displaying a deep, luscious blue hue. The sapphire is complemented on the left and right by a small row of horizontally-organized, channel-set sapphires. The central sapphire is further encircled by a circular-shaped halo of bead-set single cut diamonds. A versatile piece, this pendant necklace would look lovely worn alone or paired with other antique necklaces!
