Art Deco Platinum Sapphire Sugarloaf Engagement Ring 9.25ctw

A simply stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fantastic platinum piece adorns an incredible natural sapphire sugarloaf cabochon at the center of a gorgeous setting. The stone weighs approximately 9.25ctw and displays a wonderful, rich blue color. The cabochon has four flat sides coming to a point in the center of the stone, giving it a unique edge. The sapphire is claw set within a platinum setting and is flanked at each shoulder with 3 full cut diamonds beside a step motif that climbs up to the stone. The ring's airline features intricate punchwork designs and a smoothly polished band wraps around the back, inside of which is a “PLAT" hallmark. It looks absolutely stunning on and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be resized if desired. The face of the ring measures slightly more than 1/2" tall and 3/8” tall, and sits 3/8” above the finger when worn. 

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the platinum and the sapphire and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
