A fantastic enamel and faux carnelian bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This attractive piece features 4 rectangular shaped sterling silver links which alternate with 4 beautiful sugarloaf cabochon faux carnelian stones. Each enamel link has a geometric cutout design with deep black and vibrant coppery red enameling. The red links have a subtle, engraved design behind the enameling which shows through to create a slightly textured look. The bracelet opens and closes with a simple sterling clasp, and the back of the last enameled link is stamped "STERLING". A striking piece, this bracelet would fit nicely on a small to medium sized wrist. It would look beautiful worn alone or paired with other silver and enameled pieces!
Measurement: The bracelet measures approximately 7 3/8" long. Each enamel link measures approximately 7/8" in length and 3/8" wide. Each carnelian link measures 1" wide. The carnelian stones themselves measure 1/2" on each side, and have a depth of slightly less than 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent chips to the enamel and very minor bubbles in the faux carnelian stones. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
