Art Nouveau 14k Amethyst & Pearl Festoon Necklace

A regal festoon-style necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this necklace begins with a dainty gold cable chain, which secures with a simple spring ring clasp. The chain is interrupted by 2 small pearls as the necklace transitions into a lovely drop extension. The extension begins with 2, bezel-set, round cut amethyst stones and shifts into a cluster comprised of 3 pearls. The based of the necklace features a prong-set, pear cut amethyst. The milky white luster of the pearls wonderfully contrasts the rich purple hue of the amethyst stones, giving the piece a very striking appearance. An incredible example of Art Nouveau-era craftsmanship, this piece would make an exquisite addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements: The necklace has a total length of 14". The central extension hangs 1" off of the main chain.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold chain, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in working order. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
