A dainty pair of earrings from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a diamond surmount. The diamonds are held within milgrained bezel-settings, and are both mine cut diamonds. The earrings then feature a short length of dainty cable chain, and a teardrop-shaped link. The front surface of each teardrop-shaped link features repoussé detailing, which incorporates floral and swirling-motifs. Each teardrop-shaped link also features an additional, bezel-set mine cut diamond. The backside of each lowermost link is smooth and simple, and the earrings are completed by earring wires. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .90ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. A magnificent pair, these earrings would make a great addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring measures 1 1/4" long (including the earring wires) and has a width of 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The earring wires are securely attached.
