A stunning jade ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold, this ring features a prong-set jade plaque. The jade is hand-carved, and depicts what appears to be an olive-branch. The jade is simply magnificent in color, displaying a vibrant green hue. The jade is surrounded by a lovely frame, which is adorned with texturizing engravings. Each shoulder of the ring features a foliage-motif and twisting-rope motif. The gallery of the ring features a scrolling-motif cutout-design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is marked with an "E", a maker's mark which reads: "MG", a "14K" purity mark, and the number "85". A colorful and intricate ring, this piece would make a lovely addition to any Art Nouveau-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.73mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the jade plaque is intact and securely set.
