A beautiful opal and diamond ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold, this ring features a navette-style centerpiece, which is decorated with opals and small diamonds! The center of the centerpiece features 3, prong-set opal cabochons running vertically down the front of the ring. The opals are simply phenomenal, display flashes of blue, green, orange, and red. The opals are complemented on the left and right by 2, bezel-set single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .15ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature "x"-motif and geometric engravings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "14KT" purity mark. A gorgeous ring, this piece would look lovely worn on any hand!
Measurements:The ring is a size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 3/4" and a width of 5/8". The band has a width of 3.85mm.
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rose gold setting. All of the opals and diamonds are intact and securely set.
