A gorgeous lavalier pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This lovely piece is made of 14kt gold, and has an elegant chandelier design. The pendant hangs from a thin gold chain at the top, which is threaded through a gold bail. At the center of the pendant is a faceted bezel set tourmaline, which displays a rich, vibrant pink color. Three strands of teardrop tourmalines dangle freely below the centerpiece, giving lovely movement to the design! Delicate natural seed pearls, sparkling rose cut accent diamonds, and green enamel details add further beauty to the artistic design. Suitable for daily wear or special occasions, this luscious pendant would look marvelous paired with a favorite gold chain!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2 3/8" long, measures 7/8" across at its widest point, and is about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the tourmaline stones, diamonds, and seed pearls are intact. There is some light wear to the enamel motif, which is commensurate with age, and common for an antique piece. However, it is not noticeable when worn, and does not detract from the beauty of the design.
