A versatile slide chain necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in gold-fill, and completed with a 14k clasp, this necklace begins with a simple rope chain. The chain is also accompanied by an oval-shaped slide mechanism, which features the repoussé image of woman on both sides. The woman is shown in profile, with flowing locks, and a flower in her hair. The center of the floral is represented by a single, small pearl. The chain is completed by a 14k watch swivel clasp, which would allow the wearer to attach their favorite antique charms or pendants!
