A gorgeous pair of enameled earrings from the Art Nouveau (ca1900)! These beautiful earrings are crafted in silver gilt and have an elegant flowing design. Each earring features two bezel set opals and has a pearl dangling from the base. The setting has a flowing curvilinear appeal, with enameled floral details decorating the face of the earrings. A simple earring wire is attached to the top, and the earrings dangle with elegant movement when worn. A beautiful example of the Art Nouveau era aesthetic, the earrings would look spectacular worn day or night!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/2" long, measure 3/4" across at the widest point, and are 1/8" thick.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver gilt or the featured stones, all of which are intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver gilt that gives an antique appearance to the setting, which is normal and adds depth to the design. Additionally, the enamel is intact and free of scratches or dents.
