The diamond is prong set in a curved box setting and has an approximate weight of .50ct. The stone has G color and SI1 clarity. The mounting is made of 18kt white gold and is detailed with 6 additional diamonds that rest on each side of the center stone. These diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.20ct. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design. The inside shank is stamped "18K"; also seen is the original date which ends in the year "(19)29". If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. It's a gorgeous piece and would make an absolutely stunning engagement ring!
