A breathtaking Art Deco diamond engagement ring! This stunning piece is crafted in platinum and holds a gorgeous old Cushion Mine Cut diamond at the center of a timeless setting. The "step-up" style mounting features four rows of diamonds on each shoulder, beautifully accenting the substantial center stone which is prominently prong set within a box setting. The large diamond has an exact weight of 5.09ct and exhibits L color and SI1 clarity. Set within the "steps" of each shoulder are 20 Round Cut diamonds in a milgrained bead setting, collectively weighing approximately 0.51ctw and exhibiting H-K range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline with a romantic heart motif, and delicate engraved detail along the sides of the band completes the beautiful Art Deco style design.
The ring was appraised in April of 2021 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $60,000.00. A truly gorgeous and classically beautiful piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
