A absolutely stunning diamond and sapphire 3-stone ring from the Edwardian era (ca1910’s) era! Crafted in platinum, this fabulous piece features a bold 3-stone design comprised of two diamonds and a single cut sapphire bullet cabochon stone. The sapphire, which is bezel set weighs 1.50ctw and has fantastic deep blue color. The bullet cabochon sapphire stone which sits substantially higher than the setting has really nice milgraining around the bezel of the stone. On the other side of the sapphire are two Mine Cut diamond stones that are bezel set and weigh 1.10ctw. The color of the diamonds are H/I color and VS2-SI1 clarity. Underneath the stones in the gallery of the mounting are 20 single cut diamonds that are set in the middle of a shield shape milgrained cutout design that add unique detail to the setting. The inside of the shank is stamped "PLAT" and has a makers mark 59999. This incredibly beautiful piece would be a lovely addition to any jewelry collection or could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25+ but could easily be re-sized up or down.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the stones are intact and free of chips or damage.
