A fabulous Diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous piece features a .98ct old cushion cut diamond which rests in a unique raised six-prong setting. There are two Single Cut diamonds that lie on the shoulders of the ring to accent the design. A unique cutout gallery and airline feminine swirled detail are underneath the diamond and on sides of the ring. We couldn’t identify any hallmarks but the ring was tested and made of platinum. It would make a perfect engagement ring for anyone who wants an unusual Edwardian antique diamond ring. The ring comes with a GIA accredited appraisal that states the color as G and clarity as VS2. The retail replacement value of the beautiful ring is $7,500.00.
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 7.5 but could be easily resized. When worn, the ring rests about 1/3" above the finger. The width at the top of the ring is 7.71mm and slowly tapers down to side to bottom of ring which is 1.90mm wide.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting.
