A charming fob/charm from the Georgian era (ca1810) with a lovely Urn motif! Crafted in bright 18k gold, the fob is petite and beautifully decorated with white and royal blue glittering enamel. Bezel-set at the base is an oval-shaped orange piece of quartz engraved with the initials "ML" in the script. The petite fob hangs from a bail that is set with four petite rose-cut diamonds. The enamel work is accented with draped floral sprays throughout the body of the urn. The bail of the urn can be unscrewed from the charm to reveal a hollow interior. A lovely antique piece, it is perfect for a Georgian-obsessed collector!
Measurements: The fob measures 1 1/4" tall, including the bail. The stone at the base is 3/8" in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent, considering its age. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enamel shows minor areas of wear and is exceptionally well-kept for the piece's age. The quartz fob shows a few minor scratches. The stone is secure in its setting.
