This exceptional "man in the moon" ring is a lovely piece from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k vibrant yellow gold, this ring features a central oval-shaped moonstone. The moonstone is intricately carved to represent the smiling face of a "man in the moon". The face features wide eyes and a soft smile, and the moonstone is held within a bezel-setting. The moonstone is bordered on all four sides by a cross-shaped centerpiece. Each section of the cross features a bead-set mine cut diamond, which overall have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The shoulders of the ring feature a split-design, and the band is ribbed. A dainty ring, this piece would make a splendid addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.5, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The band has a width of 2.25mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The carved moonstone and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
