An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece has a very classic look and is made of 14k yellow gold with white gold prongs. The diamond, which is an old European cut, has a total weight of approximately 1.57ct and displays K color and SI2 clarity. The sparkling stone stands out dramatically against the beautiful yellow gold band, which tapers in towards the back and bolsters incredible scrolling filigree sprawling from the shoulders and gallery. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in August 2022 and has a stated retail replacement value of $13,000.00. A truly timeless piece, it looks breathtaking when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamond, which is intact and securely set.
