An exquisite pair of diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, each earring begins with a shield-shaped surmount, which is encrusted with small diamonds. The earrings then progress to a trefoil-shaped link, which is also adorned with small, sparkling stones. The earrings are completed by an elongated, dangling link, which is decorated with 3, bezel-set diamonds running vertically down the center of the component. In total, the large, rose cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.10ctw, and display L/M color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The front surface of each elongated link features additional bead-set diamonds, milgrain detailing, and geometric cutouts. Together, the smaller single and mine cut diamonds which adorn the earrings have an approximate total carat weight of .40ctw, and display L/M color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The earrings are completed by simple, solid gold lever backs. A truly showstopping pair, these earrings would be perfect for any upcoming special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings have a total length of 2" and measure 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The lever backs are intact and in working order.
