An elegant lavalier pin from the Edwardian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k and platinum, the surface of this inverted umbrella-shaped is encrusted with bead-set mine cut diamonds. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The interior of the pin features foliage and floral-motifs, which add a lovely, whimsical quality to the pin. The base of the pin also features 4 pearls, which display a pinkish-white luster. The base of the pin features a single, dangling pearl, which is topped with a tulip-shaped cap. The backside of the pin features a simple, solid gold pin clasp. An elegant piece, this pin would make an extraordinary addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pin has a total height of 1 1/4" and a width of 1 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the diamonds and pearls are intact and securely set. The pin clasp is secure and in working order.
