The piece is a timeless sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow and white gold, this ring features a gorgeous central, round-cut sapphire. The sapphire, which is bead-set, has an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw, and displays a deep, luscious blue hue. The diamond is complemented on both the left and right by 2, smaller old European cut diamonds. The sparkling stones are also bead-set, and have an approximate total carat weight of .40ctw. The stones rest atop a pill-shaped white gold plaque, and the remainder of the mounting is crafted in vibrant yellow gold. The gallery and shoulders of the ring feature a fabulous cutout-design, and are further adorned with blooming floral and scrolling-motifs. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. A bold piece, this ring would blend seamlessly into any Edwardian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.7mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
