A gorgeous navette ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold, the piece features a substantial navette centerpiece. An old European cut diamond rests within the middle of the centerpiece, and is held within a bezel setting. The diamond has an approximate carat weight of .60ct, and displays I color and has SI2 clarity. The remainder of the elongated centerpiece is highly intricate, and features stunning filigree detailing and cutouts. The centerpiece is also encrusted with small, single cut diamonds which are held in place by bead settings. The band of the ring is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features an "18K" purity mark. An absolutely magnificent piece, this large ring would make a wonderful addition to any Edwardian jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75 but could be easily re-sized. The navette centerpiece measures about 1" long, slightly less than 7/8, and rests a little under 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures approximately 2.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact, and there is no damage of the filigree detailing.
