A unique diamond and sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a square-shaped centerpiece, which is encrusted with bead-set old mine and rose cut diamonds. The central, diamond-adorned portion of the ring is encircled by a border of channel-set square cut sapphires, which display a luscious, deep blue hue, and have an approximate total carat weight of .45ctw. The shoulders of the ring, which feature a split-design, and further decorated with bead-set rose cut diamonds, which catch the light with every turn. Together, all of the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The gallery of the ring features a trefoil-motif cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A striking ring, this mixed metal beauty would make a spectacular addition to any Edwardian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.3mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the diamonds and sapphires are intact and securely set.
