A striking sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central 3.96ct cushion cut Ceylon sapphire. The prong-set sapphire is simply incredible, displaying a luscious blue hue. Uniquely, the top and bottommost prongs of the ring feature a pillar-motif design. The sapphire is complemented on both the left and right by a subtle "step"-design. The steps of the ring are encrusted with bead-set rose cut diamonds, which add a lovely shimmer to the ring. The remainder of the yellow gold band is smooth and simple. The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #6237742257, which provides more information on the sapphire. A one-of-a-kind ring, this piece would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements:The ring is currently a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.07mm.

Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The central sapphire and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
