An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold with a platinum box, this ring has a classic solitaire appeal. The Old European Cut diamond has an exact weight of 1.00ct and rests in a 6-prong setting. The sparkling stone displays K color and SI1 clarity, pairing perfectly against the polished yellow gold band that tapers gently towards the back, marked "18" inside. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in January of 2020, and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,300.00. This timeless design would make for the most wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6.75 but can easily be resized. When worn, the ring rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamond stone is intact and securely set.
