A gorgeous French paperclip chain necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18K yellow gold, this chain is composed of small ellipse shaped links, which resemble "paperclips". Each link features two small jump rings on both ends, which allow the chain flexibility, and the ability to be double or triple wrapped. The lengthy chain secures at a swivel watch clasp. A truly magnificent example of Edwardian-era craftsmanship, this paperclip chain would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The chain necklace measures approximately 54" long. Each link is 1/2" tall and 1/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. The gold setting and all of the links are secure and intact, and the swivel watch clasp is in working order.
