A beautiful pair of diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in platinum-topped 14kt yellow gold, these diamond-encrusted earrings have a lovely dangling design. Each hangs from a 14kt gold wire which attaches at a bezel set diamond surmount. Attached to the sparkling toppers is a vertically hanging bar link encrusted with a row of four old Rose Cut diamonds. Freely hanging at the base of each earring are open circles, lined at the bottom with sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds. A substantially sized old Mine Pear cut diamond is bezel set in the center of each ring, providing a dramatic finish to the already stunning design. The overall approximate diamond weight between both earrings is 0.95ctw. When worn, the earrings frame the face beautifully and dangle with lovely movement. Whether worn day or night, they would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 1/4" long (including the wire), and measures about 3/8" wide and 3/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting. The diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working order.
